Backyard & Beyond was introduced in 2005. As young parents with growing families, we felt the need for creating more family time that is meaningful and memorable. We believe in engaging our children in family activities. Yes, we do from time to time indulge in television, hand-held games and racing around from activity to activity. So, we set out to design products that brought families together and thus Backyard & Beyond was born.

We don't always want to just keep our kids "busy" but to engage them. Naturally we thought of activities we all might be interested in like gardening, going to the beach or camping. And, we thought maybe we could help make life a little easier and more enjoyable for the parents, too!

We love to garden and wanted our children to participate with us. So we set about designing fun, colorful and useful products we believe will enhance your gardening experience all the while introducing your child to a lifelong activity.

And isn't going to the beach a blast?! But we know it can also be a hassle. We designed a beach chair and umbrella with straps, that when folded, can be carried by the child. Now we just have to figure out how to make them actually carry the chair!

Remember when you used to sleep out under the stars in your backyard? Hunkering down for the night meant popcorn and flashlights...and then coming in at midnight to sleep indoors.
